<but_text>Greetings from London where I flew in from Denver on Nov 06 after a three week lecture tour at various institutions in USA in Colorado, Seattle, Houston and Austin. In recent years I am traveling around UK, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and other European countries doing motivational talks, promotional and inspirational lectures at various universities, climbing clubs and educational institutions and tourism seminars.

I would like to thank everyone for their great support for Malala who is a symbol of hope for the daughters of Pakistan! God Bless her with a healthy life ahead and bless you all!

<title>Nazir Sabir Visits ASU to Share Everest Adventures</title>
		<but_link>http://blogs.adams.edu/thepawprint/nazir-sabir-visits-asu-to-share-everest-adventures/</but_link>
<but_text>There is no more beautiful sight than seeing the full moon playing hide and seek on the top of the mountain. It as if I was meant to observe the full moon on the high places in the world.”
The death threats that the mountains sent down upon Nazir time after time would not stop him from accomplishing his mission.
Not only does he embark on the journeys for himself but also he starts them for his friends that have died trying to reach the same heights of the world. “Climbing mountains is almost addicting but it is also humbling.

The Hunza Valley located in northern Pakistan would be the ideal setting for the upbringing of a world famous climber. The jagged 20,000 ft. peaks that surround the valley are perfect for the training and lead up to the ascent of the big brother Mountains, Everest and K2.
Nazir Sabir could definitely be placed within the category of being a product of his environment. His home the Hunza Valley is the only place in the world where every mountain that overshadows the villages below are or above 20,000 ft.
Often when we think of famous individuals, we simply think about their accomplishment.
When it comes to Nazir Sabir, most fans would just praise him for his triumphant success of being the first man from Pakistan to ever reach the top of Mount Everest and K2.
What we do not realize or even think about is the adventure of the journey to top. The perilous trek that took more mental drive than anything on this Earth, will always be overshadowed by the finish, the prize.
In Nazir’s case, could the journey be the grand prize, and the reaching of the top just be the small token of pride.
“The man on the mountain did not just fall there.” The journey is what makes the individual; it is where the hardships lie, and where the self-pleasure is chiseled into eternity

		<title>23 Climbers Summit K2 </title>
		<link>file://localhost/Users/kendalricher/Desktop/Kendal%20Web%20Test/Site/Photos.html</link>
		<but_link><a href="http://nazirsabir.com/fixesd_departures/">sdasdasdasd</a></but_link>
<but_text>K2 was climbed by 23 climbers most of them from an international team led Dawa Sherpa in the early hours of July 31 via the Abruzzi Ridge. 10 Sherpas from Nepal, three Chinese, Azim from Iran, Fabrice from France and Tunc Findik from Turkey are said to be among those who reached the summit. This is an incredible feat on K2 which had defied success from Pakistan side for last three years. Few more from other teams are said to have reached the summit but the names are not available putting the total to the maximum number of 23 ever reaching K2 summit in a single day.

The last success on K2 in 2008 was marred by tragedy as 11 people from different nationalities lost their lives in avalanches, exposure and other mysterious circumstances. Several Sherpas lost their lives attempting to rescue the trapped climbers around the elusive Bottleneck that is famous for ice avalanches high on the Abruzzi Ridge.

Mingma Sherpa was the first Nepalese to have climbed all 14 eight thousand meter peaks in the world. While supporting his elder brother and chasing his own dreams Chhang Dawa Sherpa also crowned 12 of these peaks. Dawa led this large international team of 16 Nepalese Sherpas to achieve his last Karakoram peak and reached the top of K2 today at around 10am, followed by his colleagues.

Speaking from the summit, Dawa gave the brief details of their success to Nazir Sabir Expeditions who were handling and supporting the team in Pakistan. He was ecstatic about this great success and informed many of the team members were already at camp four while others were descending there.

Meanwhile famous Chinese lady climber Ms. Wang Jing and her counterpart Mr. Zhang Liang from China accompanied by two Sherpas also got up Broad Peak summit the same day around the same time as K2 as told by the team leader Enzo via Satellite phone from BC.

<title>First winter summit in Karakoram Pakistan!</title>
		<but_link>http://www.climbing.com/news/hotflashes/first_winter_ascent_of_gasherbrum_ii/</but_link>
<but_text>NSE is glad to share the good news coming from our good friends Simone Moro and Denis Urubko after their arrival at Base Camp of Gasherbrum II (8035m). Both Simone and Urubko safely reached B C along with their friend Cory. Maybe you know this is the first 8000m peak having been climbed in winter season in Pakistan. All three reached the summit on Feb 02 at 11:35 am. According to an email message received from Simone from BC their descent to the BC has been eventful with ferocious winds, extremely poor visibility and worst of all they came under an avalanche but thankfully they all survived in one piece. They are all in good health and planning to return to Islamabad by helicopter in few days.</but_text>
